Interested in a Charity Trek?
These 3 week trips include visits to many of the famous sites in Nepal and treks to either Annapurna Base Camp or Mt Everest Base Camp. Each trip concludes with visits to some of the DCWC projects in remote villages. (Schools, hospital, pharmacy). Participants are encouraged to support the work of the DCWC with a donation or a sponsorship.

Similar to the treks, this 2 week itinerary includes time in Kathmandu, travel to several famous sites, an incredible Mountain Flight over the Himalayas, some short (day)hikes and visits to DCWC projects in remote villages. Participants are encouraged to support the work of the DCWC with a donation or a sponsorship.

The DCWC was established in 2000 to help the poor people of Nepal's rural villages. By providing education and health services, especially for the women and children we can affect entire villages and are able to change lives for generations to come.

As of July 2011 we have built 20 schools, a DCWC Community Hospital and Pharmacy and we sponsor more than 200 children.

Ambulance Without an ambulance, thousands of people die before they can reach our Community Hospital, opened in 2010. The hospital provides desperately needed medical attention for surrounding villages, but is often a walk of several hours, or even days!
